Georgia and Michigan Lead, Alabama Slips, and Colorado Falls Out of the College Football Power Rankings

College Football Power Rankings, Week 3.

In the latest release of the college football power rankings, Georgia confidently retains the number one spot, while Michigan remains steadfast at number two.

Despite looking vulnerable with a narrow two-point victory against Boston College, Florida State manages to cling to the third position. Texas and Ohio State complete the top five, showcasing their prowess on the field.

However, the landscape further down the rankings has seen some notable shifts. Alabama, a perennial powerhouse, has surprisingly slipped to the eleventh spot, appearing to be a shadow of the dominant Crimson Tide teams of past years.

Meanwhile, Colorado has taken a hit, dropping out of the top 15. On the other hand, Duke, not traditionally a regular in the higher echelons of the rankings, has staked a claim at number 13, marking their impressive rise.

As conference play is set to commence this week, fans can anticipate major matchups leading to potential upheavals in the rankings.
