Michigan Football fans have a lot to be excited about as the Wolverines prepare to welcome five-star offensive tackle prospect Brandon Baker to Ann Arbor. The Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei 2024 standout is set to take an unofficial visit to Michigan early next week, according to The Michigan Insider.
With nearly 30 scholarship offers under his belt, the talented 6-foot-5, 285-pounder is certainly a sought-after recruit. Among those offers, Michigan Football has already extended one to the talented young athlete. Originally, Baker was expected to visit Ann Arbor earlier this spring, but the trip had to be postponed.
The Wolverines are not the only team vying for Baker’s attention. He has a busy schedule ahead, with visits planned to Ohio State on June 9th and Georgia on June 23rd. As of now, there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for his final decision.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Brandon Baker is ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect in the 2024 class, the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation, and the No. 2 player in the state of California for his class.
Michigan Football fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on Baker’s upcoming visit, hoping that the Wolverines can make a lasting impression on the talented offensive tackle. With his impressive skill set and potential to elevate the team’s offensive line, Baker would undoubtedly be a major addition to Michigan’s roster.
