NCAA Football Power Rankings

Tennessee shocked the world by knocking off the perennial powerhouse Alabama. Four out of the Volunteers’ last five wins have come against AP top-25 teams, which is why they land in the top spot of this week’s NCAA Football Power Rankings. TCU takes a huge leap up after once again winning a close game against a quality opponent. And USC falls after losing to Utah in a wild finish.

Ohio St stays on top of the Wolverine Chronicle NCAA Football Power Rankings after their dominant performance against Michigan St. Texas sneaks back into the rankings by throttling their rival, and TCU and UCLA impress with quality wins.

The Ohio St Buckeyes move up to the top spot after Georgia struggles for two consecutive weeks against inferior opponents. Ole Miss sneaks into the top 10 after an impressive showing against Kentucky, and Kansas stays unbeaten and inches their way upward in the week 6 edition of the Wolverine Chronicle NCAA Football Power Rankings.

Ohio State moves up to number 2 after their beat down of the Badgers, while Michigan and USC found a way to win and continue to look like strong contenders. Minnesota and Kansas can’t get any love from the AP Poll, but they’ve earned their spot in the Wolverine Chronicle Power Rankings.

The top 7 teams remain unchanged in this week’s edition of the national power rankings, but Minnesota climbs to #8 as they prepare for their first real test of the season against MSU. Arkansas looked weak so they fell out of the top 15.

Kentucky and Minnesota sneak into the top 10, while Arkansas and BYU make their first appearance in the Power Rankings this season. The Texas Longhorns jump into the rankings after their loss to Bama because they showed their defense is champion caliber.

Georgia holds strong in the top spot after dominating the Ducks. USC leaps into the top, and the Minnesota Golden Gophers make their first appearance of the year.
